Prayer

I was reading the Word of God and that’s the only time one meets God face to face,the good thing about the Bible is that as you read the Word it also reads you.
The title was about the prayer

After Christ prayed it was as usual with his disciples;for several times Jesus used to pray and it would be the business as usual.
but that particular day after He prayed one disciple stopped Him and bravely asked Him to teach them how to pray as John taught his disciples how to pray.

One would imagine them not knowing how to pray even though they were with Jesus almost most of their time this did not make sense it was absolutely nonsensical.
The frustration they were exposed to when they arrived home or with other people who knew that they were close to the Lord sparked the interest.
Bravely  asked Him please teach us to pray as John taught his desciples.

The quenching mood for the thirst of knowing how to pray, a wonderful  request indeed”I pray that u also have the thirst of knowing how to pray in Jesus’name Amen.”
This should go beyond this disciple to me,you and us to have the zeal to know how to pray and ask to be taught  the how part.
One day Jesus  said THE SPIRIT OF GOD IS UPON ME TO TEACH THE GOSPEL TO THE POOR.
The base is to be taught and swim in the pool of knowledge hence a direct plea to Jesus the Christ.

The Spirit of God should be the neuron of the prayer that’s why Jesus told the woman that it should be in TRUTH and in SPIRIT so the formula does not need Sherlock Holmes to investigate,it’s straight forward if it is not in SPIRIT IT IS NOT IN TRUTH .

I PRAY THAT the SPIRIT of the Lord be part of you now that your prayers be in Truth in Jesus’name Amen.

Prayer should be directed to God in the name of Jesus, people should no that Jesus is the way for the prayer so it should be offered in His name. At the beggining of the prayer it is vital to know that God is listening for He does listen to prayers.In the prayer we glorify,bless and praise as we pray we should express the confidence that we know that we speak to God who listen.

Prayer should be offered in Faith .The God kind of faith should be taken into cognisens as nothing was done in the exclusion of faith.This us a concept heared and found in human lips but very difficult to see the results when prayers are offered

Then Christ said  when  you pray say:

“Give us our daily  bread”

The people He said this to were adults and surely have being eating from birth to date, now :
Why did He say ,”say give us our daily bread.”
CHRIST knew  how many things including the daily bread or food can be a barrier in one’s salvation.
Food remember not all that is  glittering is gold.
Not all food that is being put on the table comes from God.
It might have been stolen
The money that bought it might have been raised at the expense  of the poor,orphans or widows and that’s one sensitive and fragile platform to note as Christians for they are at the Heaŕt of God,”You temper with them you face God Himself and you rather fight with or against Goliath than God Himself.
That’s why our Lord said always ask the food that comes from God .Who knows maybe the food in your fridge comes from the dark Kingdom please note that the devil has no free gift:he gives you in exchange for your soul.We should not be fooled by anything or carrot dwindling,look the devil can’t give you love it will be Kingdom fighting itself. You should mind what you get especially the source.
Ask God to give u the food that comes from His kingdom  that you be demon free yes our daily bread.
I pray that u be free from Evil
That you be given bread that comes from God and Him only
Now When you  pray say now with understanding that Give us our daily bread
